Risework is a coalition of Massachusetts businesses, labor unions, and non-profits that believe safe workplaces are the foundation of our future.
Our mission is to create healthier organizations by developing employee skills and strengthening the social fabric of the workforce.
We believe safety, respect, and inclusion are core competencies essential to a resilient workplace culture and a successful 21st Century economy.

Massachusetts needs laws that reflect our 21st Century lives and the new workplaces we occupy. Risework is a coalition of businesses, unions, and nonprofits committed to building safe work environments by advocating for policies that improve workplace culture and create respectful environments for employees to suceeed.

When employees are subjected to discriminatory or offensive behavior that creates a toxic work environment, their productivity, mental health, and overall well-being can suffer. This can lead to high employee turnover and legal action. Risework is dedicated to the systems change that is necessary to encourage healthy and safe environments for all employees.

Risework goes beyond our own individual organizations to help generate the ideas, infrastructure, and teamwork to build meaningful workplace cultures. We recognize that resources and time are often limited. Through our combined efforts, we proudly help raise organizations toward their workplace goals to secure genuine, lasting change.
